Appointment notes help keep track of special requirements, reminders, requests, or comments for an upcoming appointment. These notes can be added by either the business when booking the appointment or by the customer when they book their appointment online, but they are visible only to the business. Any appointments with a note are marked with an Appointment Note icon on the Calendar. Here's an example of how a customer would enter an appointment note online.
Appointment Notes differ from Customer Notes because they contain information about the customer and are stored in their profile.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.
You can add a note to an appointment when you're scheduling it.
To add an appointment note at the time of booking:

Go to the Calendar
screen, then select the calendar you want to view.

Select a time slot on the Calendar, then select New Appointment.

Choose a service, customer, and any other details for this service.

Enter an Appointment Note.

Select Book.

If you want to add a note to a customer's existing appointment, you can do so from the calendar. You can also edit any existing notes.
To add or edit a note to an existing appointment:

Go to the Calendar
screen, then select the calendar you want to view.

Find the appointment.

Select the appointment on the calendar to open its details, then select Edit.

Under Appointment Notes, enter or update your customer's note.

Select Save.

Under Appointment Notes, enter or update your customer's note.

In the top-right corner of the popup, select X to save.
You can view appointment notes on the Calendar. Any appointments with a note will show an Appointment Note icon in the appointment timeslot.
