Use general tags to categorize and group your customers for business identification and reporting. For example, when running customer reports filtered by general tags, you can add a general tag such as "VIP" to designate specific profiles with a VIP status. General tags are not case-sensitive, but if two customers have a different spelling or hyphenation of the same tag, they will not be grouped together in the Customer List Report.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.
To add a general tag to a customer's profile:

Go to Customers
and select a customer.

On the Profile tab, select Edit.

In the General Tag field, enter one or more tags separated by commas (,).

Optionally, remove any general tags you don't want from this list.

Select Save in the top-right corner of the screen.
To add a general tag to a customer's profile:

Go to Customers
and select a customer.

In the top-right corner, select Edit Profile.

On the Profile tab, in the General Tag field, enter one or more tags separated by commas (,).

Optionally, select X to remove a general tag from the list.

Select Save.
