Add a General Tag

A general tag is a keyword or phrase added to a customer's profile to categorize and group them for business identification and reporting purposes. For example, when running customer reports filtered by general tags, you can add a general tag such as "VIP" to designate specific profiles with a VIP status. General tags are not case-sensitive, but if two customers have a different spelling or hyphenation of the same tag, they will not be grouped together in the Customer List Report.

Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.

Vagaro Pro App

To add a general tag to a customer's profile:

  1. At the bottom of the screen, select Customers.

  2. Search for or select the customer.

  3. In the Personal Information heading, select Edit.

  4. Scroll down to General Tag, then select it.

  5. Enter one or more tags separated by commas (,).

  6. Select Save in the top-right corner of the screen.

Web Version

To add a general tag to a customer's profile:

  1. In the top menu, select Customers.

  2. Search for or select the customer.

  3. On the Profile tab, in the General Tags box, select Add a Tag.

  4. Enter one or more tags separated by commas (,).

  5. Select Save.
