Vagaro Bucks are a token of appreciation we offer to our valued customers for referring new, paying Vagaro members. Each Vagaro Buck holds a value of $1 (£1) and will never expire. You can use these credits towards your next subscription fee or redeem them in the Vagaro Online Store. Additionally, your referrals will receive Vagaro Bucks, which they can use to buy Vagaro products and hardware. As an added bonus, the Vagaro business that referred the most paying members by the end of the year will win $1,000 CA/AU (£1,000 GBP)!
There are two ways to earn Vagaro Bucks that also determine how you can redeem them:

If you accept a referral from an existing Vagaro user, you’ll get Vagaro Bucks that can be redeemed only for hardware at the Vagaro Online Store. These Vagaro Bucks will never expire.

If you're an active business and refer a new Vagaro business, you'll get Vagaro Bucks when they become a paying member. You can put these credits towards your subscription or redeem them at the Vagaro Online Store; however, if your monthly billing date occurs before you make a purchase, those Vagaro Bucks will be automatically used.

The program details for businesses in the United States differ from other countries and apply to both active Vagaro businesses and service providers.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.
Referrals from active businesses in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia will each receive a free month and 25 Vagaro Bucks towards our products or Vagaro hardware. In return, for each referral that becomes a paying member, you will also get 25 Vagaro Bucks to spend on your subscription, Vagaro products, or Vagaro hardware. The business with the most referred paying members at the end of the year receives $1,000 (CA/AU; £1000 GBP)!

Terms and Conditions: To participate in the Refer-a-Friend program, you must maintain an active Vagaro customer account. Referred businesses must be new to Vagaro and unrelated to existing locations.
To refer your friends to Vagaro:

Share your referral link:

Copy Link: Copy your unique Vagaro referral link, then share it by pasting it in a post on social media or sending it in an email, text message, or messaging app.

Share: Open the Share tray to select the contacts you want to share your link with or select the messaging app you want to use to share the link with your contacts.

Refer via Email: Select the friends to whom you want to send your referral link via email. Your friends will receive an email about Vagaro, and they must sign up for Vagaro in the message for each of you to receive your 25 Vagaro Bucks.

To refer your friends to Vagaro:

In the top menu, select Refer a Friend.

Copy Link: Copy your unique Vagaro referral link, then share it by pasting it in a post on social media or sending it in an email, text message, or messaging app.

Refer via Email: Send your referral link to via email to your friends. Your friends will receive an email about Vagaro, and they will have to sign up for Vagaro in the message for each of you to receive your 25 Vagaro Bucks.

You can see your progress, achievements, and Vagaro Bucks for the Vagaro referral program on Refer a Friend and Dashboard screens.

Referred: See a list of your referrals, as well as Resend your invitations to friends who haven't signed up yet. For privacy reasons, you won't be able to see a businesses's progress towards their $2.5K goal.

Referrals in Trial: See a list of your referrals who are currently signed up for the Vagaro free trial.

Paying Members: See your referrals who have become paying members of Vagaro. For US businesses, you won't be able to see their progress towards their $2.5K goal for privacy reasons

Vagaro Bucks Earned: How many Vagaro Bucks you've earned through referrals, with details showing how much you've earned and redeemed.

Rank: See your rank compared to other referring businesses. Select this tile to see a list of the top 10 business owners with the most paying referrals for the current year. The business with the most paying referrals will win $1000 from Vagaro. This leaderboard restarts at the beginning of each year.

Refer Friends (Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia only): Send your referral link by email by providing their First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and Phone, then select Refer Friends. Your friend(s) will receive an email with the promotion code that they can manually enter when they sign up for Vagaro, or they can select the link in the message to autofill the code for them.
The Refer a Friend screen shows the same information as the Refer a Friend widget on the Dashboard screen; however, this screen also lets you refer your friends and other businesses to sign up for Vagaro. At the end of the year, whoever referred the most paying members and businesses will win $1,000 US/CA/AU (£1,000 GBP)!
To see your Vagaro Bucks on the Refer a Friend screen:

Go to Refer a Friend.

Vagaro Pro App: Select More, then select Dashboard at the top of the screen.

Web Version: In the top menu, select Refer a Friend.

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and look for Vagaro Bucks Earned.

Optionally, select the Vagaro Bucks Earned tile to see a list of transactions for each time Vagaro Bucks were earned or redeemed.
Not only does your Dashboard screen give you a quick overview of your business's sales and books, but it also shows you how many Vagaro referrals you've made and how many Vagaro Bucks you've earned.
To see your Vagaro Bucks on your Dashboard:

Go to the Dashboard.

On the Web, Tablet, Pay Desk, or PayPro: Go to +.

Look for the Refer a Friend widget. The Vagaro Bucks Earned tile shows you your current balance.

Optionally, select the Vagaro Bucks Earned tile to see a list of transactions when Vagaro Bucks were earned or redeemed.
