If you are tracking customers through analytics tools like Google Search Console, you may be required to display a cookie banner on your website to satisfy GDPR and CCPA regulations. While Vagaro cannot advise on the content of your banner, an example Cookie Banner has already been set up and turned on for all Vagaro Businesses with a MySite. You can turn off this feature if applicable.
The MySite cookie banner will only prevent tracking through the Google Analytics ID you added to your MySite. If you are using any other tracking tools, you will need to handle this separately.
Prerequisites: This feature requires MySite. To set up your first website, see Getting Started with Vagaro MySite.
To configure or turn off your Cookie Banner:
-
At the top of the screen, go to MySite.
-
In the top-left corner, go to Settings
.
-
In Settings, select Cookie Banner. The banner's settings will appear on the right.
-
Select Enable or Disable to turn the banner on/off.
-
Optionally, under Color, select a style for your banner:
-

-

-

-
-
Under Text, write a message about how you use customer data.
Note
Cookie requirements vary. Our default text is a sample for illustration; you shouldn't assume it satisfies your particular legal requirements. Vagaro can't provide you with legal advice, including on the content of your confirmation text or your privacy or cookie policy.
-
