The business owner can still access their Vagaro account if they travel outside of the country, provided they're in the United States (US), Canada, United Kingdom (UK), or Australia. Unless you restrict IP addresses in the Access Levels screen, employees can also use Vagaro from anywhere in those countries. Setting up safe IP addresses prevents your employees from logging if they’re not at your business location or another allowed location, such as at their home, another business location, or at a customer’s home.
Anyone who tries to log in with an IP address that is not in your Safe IP Address list will see the following message:

This feature only works if the static IP address is continuous. A dynamic IP address has to be updated when an Internet Service Provider updates its IP. Check with your ISP to find out if you have a Static or Dynamic IP address. Additionally, this feature does not affect the account owner. It only affects service providers.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.
To turn on the feature to allow only safe IP addresses to log in to Vagaro:

Go to Access Levels.

Select the Action menu for the access level to edit, and then select Edit.

Scroll down to the Settings section, then toggle off the Login from any IP address switch.

In the popup, select Add IP to confirm.

Select Save.
Limiting the places where your employees can log in requires that they connect to a Wi-Fi network with a trusted IP to access the account. Employees will have to tell you what their IP address is before you can add it.
We recommend that employees find their IP address in one of two ways:
This method works only if the employee's access level allows them to view the Access Levels screen.
To find your IP address in Vagaro:

Go to Access Levels.

Select the Safe IP Addresses tab.

Take note of the address displayed beside Your IP Address is.
Your employees can also find their IP address by going to an online IP lookup site such as:
Only the business owner can add safe IP addresses in the Access Levels screen. Employees must tell the business owner their IP address, and each one must be manually entered and named in Vagaro.
To add a safe IP address:

Enter a name for Location and the IP Address, and then select Save.

Optionally, to temporarily disable an IP address, deselect the toggle switch.
