Keeping a consistent brand for your business is important, especially when you own multiple locations. Simplify this process by syncing a flagship's pricing, menu, and settings to a group or all your locations. A flagship can be a template business, or it can be one of your most successful locations.
After the first sync, certain fields will either be Locked or Unlocked. Unlocked fields can be modified by all locations, while Locked fields can only be modified by the flagship. See here to learn more.
Note
In Vagaro, some settings depend on each other to function. For example: turning on Membership Menu will also enable Service Menu, Class Menu, Product Menu, and Vendors.
Prerequisites: This feature is available only for enterprise businesses and business owners who have multiple locations with Vagaro. Also, to assign your locations a flagship, you must group your other locations together using the Multi-Location Grouping feature.
To sync business settings:

Select the group to be synced.

Scroll down and toggle Sync Settings.

In the Choose Flagship Location list, select a flagship.
Note
You can only select one flagship location per grouping.

This setting syncs form and SOAP note templates. To also sync responses, turn on Form Responses in your Share Customer settings.

Optionally, select whether to Sync Business Pricing to other locations as well.

Toggle Sync Pricing:

Select Save, then complete the steps in Sync for the First Time to complete the syncing process.

You must complete the steps in Sync for the First Time.

After transferring over your form and SOAP note templates, you can also transfer over responses.
To enable form response sharing:
You can decide whether to manually or automatically sync information with the flagship every day. We recommend syncing manually for the first time and then setting up automatic syncing.
Important
Make sure you are logged into the flagship you want to sync to the other locations because each location may have different settings.
To set up automatic syncing:

For the flagship business, select the More
menu, and then select Open the Vagaro Pro App, then go to Location to log into that location.

Toggle on Automatic Syncing.

Select Save.
Vagaro automatically syncs your locations daily at 3:00 AM local time.
To manually sync with the flagship:

For the flagship business, select the More
menu, and then select Open the Vagaro Pro App, then go to Location to log into that location.

Next to Automatic Syncing, select Sync Now.
The locations attached to the flagship will begin syncing. This may take a moment to complete. Refer to the Sync Status column to see if a location has synced.

When a flagship syncs its information with other location(s), only the flagship can modify certain fields and settings. It is crucial for businesses to understand what data is and isn't synced because this logic may differ for the initial sync and subsequent sync cycles.

Locked: The fields marked with "Locked" will transfer from the flagship business and cannot be edited until syncing is deactivated.

Unlocked: These fields can be edited by the synced business.

Unlocked Unless Pricing is Synced: These fields will be locked if the flagship enables Price Syncing.

Never Syncs: These fields will never sync over from the flagship location.

Pricing: Classes, services, memberships, packages, and product prices are synced for all items with the same name, as well as the fields for Duration, Points Redeem, and Points Given. Specifically for services, the lowest active price offered for each mapped service is synced across all locations to all active prices, regardless of the provider. After syncing, prices that were copied from the flagship location are no longer editable at other locations.
The first time the flagship syncs its settings, it will override the same settings at all other locations—regardless of whether those settings are locked or unlocked.
The matrix below shows what happens when a flagship syncs its service menu for the first time. Let's say that a flagship wants to sync a service, Women's Haircut, over to another business.

The system will sync over a new service if the Service Name and Category don't match any services at the synced business. We recommend that both businesses use Vagaro Services for optimized syncing.
If you've previously synced your settings from a flagship and turned off Sync Settings, your next sync will be treated as a first-time sync.
After the flagship syncs its service menu for the first time, the logic changes: unlocked fields can be overwritten if they match the flagship business.
Let's say that a flagship synced a service, Women's Haircut, with a business in the last sync cycle.
