Some businesses may require a credit card to prepay for a service or class or charge a deposit, as well as to purchase an item from their Vagaro Listing Page. Having a credit card on file with a business allows you to quickly check out, pay a deposit if required, and make purchases from their online store. The Payment Methods tab in your Vagaro web account shows all credit cards you have used with Vagaro businesses. If a card is about to expire within the current month, the status beside the card will count down to the end of the expiration month, and if a card has already expired, the status beside the card will show that it has Expired.
Your payment information can be updated at any time in your customer profile in the Vagaro app or on Vagaro.com to replace or remove an expiring or expired card or change the card you have on file with a business. Even if you've added multiple credit cards to your profile, businesses will only see the credit card you currently have on file with them.
Note
You can replace but not delete the card on file with a business if you have an auto-renewing membership or package or upcoming appointments that have been booked or held using the card.
Prerequisites: A Vagaro user account is required to complete this procedure.
To add a payment method to your customer profile:

Log in to your Vagaro account.

Go to the Payment Methods screen in your customer profile.

In the Vagaro App: At the bottom of the screen, select your profile icon, and then select Payment Methods.

On Vagaro.com: At the top of the screen, select your profile icon, and then select Payment Methods.

Under the Add Payment heading, select Add New Payment.

Enter your credit card information.

Select Save Changes.
You may need to update an existing payment method in your profile if it is expiring or has already expired by updating the card's information or by deleting it and adding a new one.
To update a payment method in your customer profile:

Log in to your Vagaro account.

Go to the Payment Methods screen in your customer profile.

In the Vagaro App: At the bottom of the screen, select your profile icon, and then select Payment Methods.

On Vagaro.com: At the top of the screen, select your profile icon, and then select Payment Methods.

Under the Payment Information heading, select the payment method to update, then choose one of the following options:

Select Edit to update your credit card information as required, then select Save.

Select Delete Card to remove it from your profile, then select Delete in the popup to confirm. If you see the message that Vagaro is Unable to Remove Card, select Replace Card on File, then choose a different card from the list.

To update or remove a payment method with a business:

Log in to your Vagaro account.

Go to the Payment Methods screen in your customer profile.

In the Vagaro App: At the bottom of the screen, select your profile icon, and then select Payment Methods.

On Vagaro.com: At the top of the screen, select your profile icon, and then select Payment Methods.

Under the Payment Methods heading, select the card to view.

Under the Businesses Using Card on File, select the Action menu of the business, then choose an option:

Select a different credit card.

Select Remove Card from Business. If you see the message that Vagaro is Unable to Remove Card select Replace Card on File and select a different card from the list.

When you're ready to check out from a business's Vagaro Listing Page to complete your booking for a service or class or submit an order, you can choose whether to select a card you've already added to your profile, or you can add a new one. Your card that the business has on file for you is highlighted in blue. Selecting a different card or adding a New Payment Method will add or update your card on file with that business.
