Adding and maintaining a list of your Family & Friends allows you to share your memberships and packages with your friends and family members at businesses that allow it. Depending on the permissions you set, additional features also allow parents and caregivers to view, book, and pay for their children's or clients' appointments and receive their appointment notifications. For dependants and people with caregivers, they can share their credit card on file (if applicable) and allow their Vagaro calendar and appointment notifications to be shared with trusted family and friends.
Prerequisites: A Vagaro account is required to accept an invitation to join someone's Family & Friends list.
To view your Family & Friends list:

Log into your Vagaro.com account.

Go to the Family & Friends screen in your customer profile.

Vagaro App: At the bottom of the screen, select the Profile icon, then select Family & Friends.

Web Version: In the top-right corner of the screen, hover over your profile icon, then select Family & Friends.
Depending on the invitation status and privileges you've given to the people on your list, you may see the following icons next to their names:
Credit card - This person can use your credit card on file.
Book Appointment – This person can book and view your appointments, receive notifications for your appointments, and pay for your appointments.
View Notifications – You will receive this person's appointment notifications.
View Appointments – You can view this person's appointments.
Invitation Pending – This person has not yet accepted your Family & Friends invitation.
Invitation Denied – This person did not accept your invitation.

Adding someone to your Family & Friends list will send an invitation email and text message for them to confirm that they want to be on your list. If they don't have a Vagaro account, their invitation will contain a link to create one.
To add a parent, spouse, sibling, or friend to your Family & Friend list:

Log into your Vagaro.com account.

Go to the Family & Friends screen in your customer profile.

Vagaro App: At the bottom of the screen, select the Profile icon, then select Family & Friends.

Web Version: In the top-right corner of the screen, hover over your profile icon, then select Family & Friends.

Select Add Family & Friends.
-
Select or provide the following information:
-
Under the Relationship to (Your Name) heading, select whether this person is a Parent, Spouse, Sibling, or Friend.

Optionally, select and upload a Profile Photo up to 4MB in size.

Provide the following information as needed:
-
First Name and Last Name (required): The person's name.
-
Gender: The person's gender.
-
Birth Date: The person's date of birth.
-
Email (Optional): The person's email address.
-
Primary Phone (Optional): The main phone number to contact this person at.

Toggle on the following switches as needed. A corresponding icon will be displayed next to their name to indicate that this setting has been enabled.

Allow This Person to Book for (Your Name): Whether this person can book, view, and pay for your appointments.
-
View This Person's Appointments: Whether to show this person's appointments on your calendar in Vagaro. This option requires that this person accepts your invitation to be added to your list.

Share (Your Name)'s Credit Card on File: Whether this person can use your credit card on file to pay for their appointments and purchases.

CC Appointment Notifications: Whether you want to receive this person's appointment notifications.

Select Save.
As a parent or guardian, you can add any of your children Family & Friends list, regardless of their age. Children under 18 years old will be automatically added to your list, and you will have access to view their Vagaro appointments.
To add a child to your Family & Friends list:

Log into your Vagaro.com account.

Go to the Family & Friends screen in your customer profile.
-
Vagaro App: At the bottom of the screen, select the Profile icon, then select Family & Friends.

Web Version: In the top-right corner of the screen, hover over your profile icon, then select Family & Friends.

Select Add Family & Friends.
-
Select or provide the following information:

Under the Relationship heading, select Child.
-
Optionally, select and upload a Profile Photo up to 4MB in size.

Toggle on the following switches as needed. A corresponding icon will be displayed next to their name to indicate that this setting has been enabled.

Allow This Person to Book for (Your Name): Whether your child can book, view, and pay for your appointments.
-
View This Person's Appointments: Whether to show your child's appointments on your Vagaro calendar. For children under 18 years old, this switch cannot be toggled off.

Share (Your Name)'s Credit Card on File: Whether your child can use your credit card on file to pay for their appointments and purchases.

CC Appointment Notifications: Whether you want to receive notifications about your child's appointments.

Select Save.
To add a pet to your Family & Friends list:

Log into your Vagaro.com account.

Go to the Family & Friends screen in your customer profile.

Vagaro App: At the bottom of the screen, select the Profile icon, then select Family & Friends.

Web Version: In the top-right corner of the screen, hover over your profile icon, then select Family & Friends.

Select Add Family & Friends.

Select or provide the following information:

Under the Relationship to (Your Name) heading, select Pet.
-
Optionally, select and upload a Profile Photo up to 4MB in size.

Provide the following information as needed (only First Name and Last Name are required):

First Name and Last Name (required): Your pet's name.
-
Gender: Your pet's gender.
-
Birth Date: Your pet's date of birth, if known.
-
Species/Breed: Search for and select your pet's species and breed, if known.

Weight: How much your pet weighs, if known.
-

Select Save.
To edit your Family & Friend settings:

Log into your Vagaro.com account.
-
Go to the Family & Friends screen in your customer profile.
-
Vagaro App: At the bottom of the screen, select the Profile icon, then select Family & Friends.

Web Version: In the top-right corner of the screen, hover over your profile icon, then select Family & Friends.

In the row of the person whose settings you want to update, select the Action menu, then select Edit.
-
Update the person's settings needed.
-
Select Save.
If a member's invitation is still Pending or shows as Invitation Denied, you can send another invitation to remind them or ask them again to join your list.
To resend an invitation to a family member or friend:

Log into your Vagaro.com account.
-
Go to the Family & Friends screen in your customer profile.
-
Vagaro App: At the bottom of the screen, select the Profile icon, then select Family & Friends.

Web Version: In the top-right corner of the screen, hover over your profile icon, then select Family & Friends.

In the row of the person whose settings you want to update, select the Action menu, then select Resend Invitation.

Select Send to confirm.
To remove someone from your Family & Friends list:

Log into your Vagaro.com account.

Go to the Family & Friends screen in your customer profile.
-
Vagaro App: At the bottom of the screen, select the Profile icon, then select Family & Friends.

Web Version: In the top-right corner of the screen, hover over your profile icon, then select Family & Friends.

In the row of the person to remove from your list, select the Action menu, then select Remove.
-
Select Remove to confirm.
