Maximize the potential of your business data with Data Lake to access your data daily, integrate with a data warehouse of your choice, use our Power BI or Tableau template app with 50+ pre-built reports, and create custom reporting to suit your needs. All of this information will help grow and optimize your business.
With the Power BI or Tableau apps, you can view your Power BI reports in just a few steps. You can:
-
Access 50+ pre-built reports.
-
Quickly set up in just a few steps.
-
Create custom reports.
-
Drill through data points for more granular data.
The Data Lake Integration is $40 a month with an extra $10 a month for each additional location (within Vagaro's Multi-Location Feature).
Additional Costs:
-
If you want to access your data with software other than Power BI or Tableau, your business will need its own storage solution or third-party connector.
-
A license may be required for any third-party business intelligence tools, connectors, or storage solutions.
To enable the data lake:
-
Go to → → .
-
Scroll down to the Data Lake integration, then select Learn More.
-
Select Activate Integration.
-
Wait a few moments for your Data Location URL and Access Token to generate.
-
Once generated, you can use the Data Location URL and Access Token to gain access to your data. You can input these codes directly into your third-party business intelligence software.
Note
It will take up to 24 hours for data to populate in your reports.
Vagaro stores your business's data. With this data, you can generate reports within Vagaro. However, if you want to sync with third-party software, such as HubSpot or Salesforce, you will need to store the data first. You can pay a company to store your data for you or store it yourself in-house. Vagaro provides you with the location of your data and a key to access it. This allows you to connect using third-party software or our pre-built Power BI and Tableau apps.
Currently, Vagaro has a Power BI app and a Tableau app that you can download from the Power BI App Marketplace and Tableau Exchange. With this app, you can easily visualize your data in minutes.
Vagaro does not currently integrate with other business intelligence software.
For all other business intelligence software, you will need to pull the data first into a data storage solution or use a third-party connector. Once this is done, you can visualize your data in the software of your choice. The management, creation, and import of your data to your own data storage solution is up to your discretion. We cannot provide advice or support on how to set up your reports without Power BI or Tableau. Please refer to the documentation of your storage solution provider for more information.
Any data you retrieve yourself or with Power BI or Tableau will sync with Vagaro's Data Lake every 24 hours and will display the previous day's data.
If you are not planning to use our pre-built Power Bi or Tableau apps, then you will need to update the Data Location URL. To do this, replace dfs with blob. For example, change https://storage.dfs.core.windows.net/reports to https://storage.blob.core.windows.net/reports.
You will then need to add the following to the end of your URL: &restype=container&comp=list. For example https://<data location URL with blob change> + "?" + <access token> + "&restype=container&comp=list".
If you want to use the Azure SDK to retrieve your data, please see this article from Microsoft.
With the Data Lake feature, you can access your data from multiple locations in one data lake.
When you activate the integration, a pop-up will appear where you can select the locations you want to include in the data lake. Please note that you can select just one or all of your locations; there is no limit. Select Activate when you are ready to activate.
Select Manage Locations from the Data Lake integration page to add more locations.

I have contacted the company about the inability for the integration to work with Microsoft multiple times and haven't heard back in over 2 and a half weeks. I gave screenshots, videos, and even found the failure logs about improper code being in place and have still been getting charged for an integration that doesn't work. I would appreciate a response and some action to make this integration work and also get a retroactive refund for the system not working and me having to be the one to do the company's troubleshooting and figuring out the issue.
Hi Jake,
Thanks for letting me know. I've forwarded this to our support managers and engineering team. I'm happy to tell you that your issue has been prioritized and will be resolved soon. A manager will contact you regarding any refunds.
Thank you for your patience,
Jamie
