MySite: Change the Title Tag for a Page

A Title Tag specifies the title of a web page. It is displayed on search engine results pages as the headline for a given result or on social media pages when shared. Title tags are important for usability, SEO, and social sharing. By default, the Title Tag is set to the business's name on Vagaro.

Note

Any changes to your website's home page settings will also apply to your website's base URL.

Prerequisites: This feature requires a MySite subscription and the web, tablet, or Pay Desk version of Vagaro. To set up your first website, see Getting Started with Vagaro MySite.

To change a page's title tag:

  1. Go to the MySite editor by selecting the MySite tab at the top of the screen.

  2. In the left design panel, select the Pages page_icon.png tab.

  3. Hover over the page, then select the Gear gear_icon.png button.

  4. Scroll down to Title Tag and enter your tag.

  5. Select Save.
