MySite: Change the Title Tag for a Page

A Title tag specifies the title of a web page. It appears on search engine results pages as the headline for a given result or on social media pages when shared. Title tags are important for usability, SEO, and social sharing. By default, the Title tag is set to the business's name on Vagaro.

Note

Any changes to your website's home page settings will also apply to your website's base URL.

Prerequisites: This feature requires MySite. To set up your first website, see Getting Started with Vagaro MySite.

To change a page's title tag:

  1. Select MySite browser-light-full.png.

  2. In the left design panel, select the Pages page_icon.png tab.

  3. Hover over the page, then select the Gear gear_icon.png button.

  4. Scroll down to Title Tag and enter your tag.

  5. Select Save.

  6. Preview and publish the changes to your MySite:

    • To preview your MySite, go to Publish, then select Preview.

    • To publish your website, go to Publish, then select Publish.
