Editor preferences allow you to control how the MySite Editor functions; it won't affect how your website looks. You can set the following preferences for your MySite editor:
-
Auto Save: Whether your website will automatically save based on the Auto Save Every time period that you set. Turn this setting off if you would prefer to manually save your changes.
-
Automatically Hide Component Menu: Whether to automatically open the right-side style panel whenever you select a component on your webpage.
-
Show New Section Buttons: Whether to display or remove the + buttons between page sections.
-
Reduced Motion: Whether to disable animations in the MySite editor. Turn this setting on if you notice any performance issues with the editor.
-
Rendering Optimization: Optimizes editor rendering but may lead to scrolling quirks.
-
Editor Color Theme: Sets a color theme for the website builder. It does not affect what customers see on your website.
Note
Editor preferences apply per device. Each user on a different device can set their own preferences.
