Due to new PCI compliance regulations, on November 1, 2021, ALL third-party merchant accounts will be terminated, and those businesses WILL NOT be able to process credit card transactions.
Authorize.net connections to third-party merchant accounts will stop working in the Vagaro software on November 1, 2021. To avoid any credit card service interruptions, please follow these important steps to continue charging your customer’s credit cards using Vagaro Merchant Services:
Upon sign up, you will receive a FREE VMS EMV reader
1 - Create a Vagaro Merchant Services Account
- Go to Settings > Credit Card Application.
- If your account information shows as Authorize.Net, select Apply For Vagaro Merchant Services from the drop-down menu.
- Select your rate and click Sign Up.
- Provide the application information and click Submit Application.
You’ll receive an email when the merchant account is approved.

2 - Cancel your Authorize.net account:

3 - Cancel your third-party merchant account:
Contact the bank or other provider to cancel your merchant services with them.
If you are a NetPay Bank Card customer, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
To continue processing transactions through Vagaro's software, you must switch to Vagaro Merchant Services (https://www.vagaro.com/ShopOwner/ManageMerchantAccounts.aspx) BEFORE November 1, 2021 .
