The Forms feature allows you to collect a variety of information from your clients by utilizing different templates and modules to meet your needs. The Payment Form template gives you the ability to quickly and securely capture credit card information. You can also use the Payment Module in your custom Forms to achieve the same goal. This feature is perfect for businesses who are new to Vagaro and want to collect their clients credit card information for future use.
Note: In order to use the Payment Module, you will need to useVagaro’sCredit Card Processing andVagaroForms. To sign up for merchant services, clickhere.
Payment Form Template The Payment Form template is a premade customizable form that includes the Payment Module and asks clients to sign and agree to have their credit card saved on file.
Note: If you are using the Payment Module, the Require Vagaro login to fill out form checkbox will be selected. This setting is required and cannot be disabled to ensure that the credit card information is saved to the correct client profile.
Payment Module
The Payment module can be used to help you collect credit card information from your customers. Simply drag the module into your form and it will populate with the necessary fields.This is also a great option if you are new to Vagaroto ensure a smooth transition for you and your clients.
If you do not have Vagaro Merchant Services and try to drag in this module, you will receive this pop up. The pop up contains a button allowing you to sign up for a Merchant Services account.
Note: The Payment or Contact Module cannot be used in mandatory forms. This is to prevent your customers from being asked to enter their credit card or personal info multiple times during booking if you already require a card to be placed on file. You can utilize our Online Shopping Cart to require credit card capture at the time of booking. You can learn more about the Online Shopping Cart here.
