Quick question: Does tap-to-pay also work on iOS?
I was able to download the new firmware and was able to perform a 'tap-to-pay' payment on my Mac when connecting the EMV card reader with a USB cable. 'Tap-to-pay' doesn't work when I'm trying to check out a customer on my iOS devices (iPhone or iPad).
Hi Ramona,
Please try deleting and reinstalling the Vagaro Pro app from your iPhone and iPad. Once you reinstall the app, you should be able to accept tap-to-pay payments easily. If this doesn't solve the problem, please contact our Support Team at sales.vagaro.com/contact for assistance.
Thank you!
Hello. How do I plug my reader into my iPad?
Hi Lisa: please see this support article for connecting the EMV to a mobile device: https://support.vagaro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009864013-How-to-Use-the-EMV-Reader-on-a-Mobile-Device.
If that doesn't solve it for you, enter a support request (email support@vagaro.com).
I can't seem to connect my EMV Reader to my phone.
Hi Kelly: See my response to Lisa, above. Check the article about connecting to a mobile device. The Firmware version of the reader could be an issue, so be sure to look over that last section about updating the firmware.
