The Purchase Order (PO) feature allows you to conveniently work with Vendors to ship products that are low in stock. You can use different filters to narrow the list to specific orders you want to see and manage and update orders in a flash!
Follow these steps to get started:
- Click Settings at the top of the screen.
- Select Purchase Orders under Things We Sell on the left side of the screen.
Managing Purchase Orders
1. Click Settings at the top of the screen once you log in.
2. Select Purchase Orders under Things We Sell on the left side of the screen.
3. You can see the full Purchase Orders list, including the Date each order was created, the Vendor that was used to ship the PO, the Employee who created the order, the PO#, and the Status of the order.
Under Action, click the drop-down to view, print, or email a copy of the PO. You can also edit or update its status.
Click Create New to create a new purchase order.
4. At the top of the screen, use the Search filter to sort the Purchase Order list by the Vendor Name. Enter the value in the search box. Then click Search.
5. To sort the list by status, click the All Statuses drop-drown. You can filter it by orders that have been Canceled, Ordered, or Received. Click Search when you're finished adding the filters you want to apply.
Let's take a closer look at each status!
Canceled PO
1. Click the Action drop-down menu on the right side of the screen once you find the order from the list. You can View or Print a copy of the PO. You can also Delete it from the list.
Ordered PO
1. Click the Action drop-down menu on the right side of the screen once you find the order from the list. You can View or Print a copy of the PO. You also can Email a copy, Cancel the order, or change the PO to Order Received.
2. Selecting Order Received in the previous step takes you to the Inventory Management screen where you can update the quantity of the product you received from the Vendor. Click Save when you're finished.
Received PO
1. Click the Action drop-down menu on the right side of the screen once you find the order from the list. You can View or Print a copy of the PO. You also can Email a copy, issue a Reorder, and Delete the item from the list. You're all set!
