To automatically refund an appointment or class that's been prepaid by a customer, follow the steps below when using the Mobile or Desktop Versions of Vagaro.
Let's get started!
On the Vagaro Pro App
1. Once you log into the account, tap More at the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Select Online Appointment Rules.
4. Select Customers Can Cancel to allow clients to cancel upcoming appointments. Then enter the minimum hours a customer can cancel before an appointment. In the example below, we've set it where the customer must cancel at least 24 hours before the service to get a refund.
Next, select Automatically Refund for Pre-paid Appointments and Classes. This allows you to automatically refund a canceled appointment or class that's been prepaid by the client.
5. When you're finished, tap Save. Then you're good to go!
On the Desktop Version
1. Click Settings at the top of the screen.
2. Select Online Appointment Rules on the left side of the page under Booking.
3. Select Customers Can Cancel to allow clients to cancel upcoming appointments. Then enter the minimum hours a customer can cancel before an appointment. In the example below, we've set it where the customer must cancel at least 24 hours before the service to get a refund.
Next, select Automatically Refund for Pre-paid Appointments and Classes. This allows you to automatically refund a canceled appointment or class that's been prepaid by the client.
4. When you're finished, click Save. Then you're good to go!
