A service is the work an employee provides for a single customer. Examples of services include a women's haircut, a shave, or a massage. You can add a Vagaro service that's already in your account by default or you can add a customizable service that's more unique to your business.
Once you add a service to the account, you can sell it from the Checkout screen. To get started, follow the steps below when using the Vagaro Pro app and Web Versions of Vagaro.

Tap Checkout.

Tap Select Customer, then search for or select a customer from the In Today or All Customers tab.

Tap Shopping Cart, + Add Item, and then Service.

Tap Service and search for or select a service from the screen, then tap Confirm.

After selecting the service, tap Add-Ons, select from add-ons assigned to the selected service or from the All Add-Ons tab and click Continue.

Tap Service Provider and select from the pop-up list.

If you wish to add a pre-configured discount, tap Discount and select one.

If an Appointment Type is required, tap and select one from the pop-up list.

Tap Add.

Tap the price of a service or add-on to make changes (like using points to pay.)

Tap Done to continue.

Complete the Checkout process.

Click Checkout.

Select the customer.
-
Click Service.
-
Select the Service and Service Provider. You also can choose a different Start Time.
Select add-ons for this service by clicking the Add-Ons box and then choosing from the ones assigned to this service or from the All Add-Ons tab.
If an Appointment Type is required, select one from the drop-down list.

Configure payment options and click Checkout to process the checkout.

On the Successful Checkout screen, choose a receipt option:

Print Receipt - for a paper copy

Email Receipt - to send an email copy to the customer (their email address will display and you click Send to finish)

No Receipt
