To require a customer to have an active membership when checking in on the Check-In App in Vagaro, follow these steps:
- Click Settings at the top of the screen.
- Click Check-In under Add-Ons.
- Select Membership Required to Check-In to require customers to have an active membership when checking in for a class on the Check-In app.
- Click Allow Customers to Purchase or Renew Memberships to allow a client to purchase or renew an expired membership when checking in.
- Click Save.

In the box under Message to Customers with Inactive Memberships, enter a message you want to send to clients who have inactive memberships.
4. Click Allow Customers to Purchase or Renew Memberships to allow a client to purchase or renew an expired membership when using the Check-In App.
5. Click Save when you're finished.

The customer will see this popup if they have an inactive membership and if the Allow Customers to Purchase or Renew Memberships is turned on in the Vagaro Account.
The customer will see this popup if they don't have a membership and if the Allow Customers to Purchase or Renew Memberships is turned on in the Vagaro Account.
The customer will see this popup if they don't have a membership and if the Allow Customers to Purchase or Renew Memberships is turned off in the Vagaro Account.
The customer will see this popup if they have an expired membership and if the Allow Customers to Purchase or Renew Memberships is turned off in the Vagaro Account.
