The Online Appointment Rules feature allows you to set various online booking rules, including denying or approving a customer's request to book with your business online. You can require acceptance for New Customer Appointments, Old Customer Appointments, and House Call service appointments, which are done outside of the business location.
You also can require acceptance for No-shows and Cancellations. For example, you can set a requirement for customers who have canceled or no-showed, allowing you to take more control over who schedules online appointments.
Note
When Require Acceptance for Online Booking is set to On, the business is required to accept all appointments made online. However, if a business accepts a customer's booking, and the same customer books a different appointment on the same calendar day, it will automatically be set to Accepted.

What does the customer see when I deny a service they booked online?
Hi Mary... When you deny an appointment request, you can enter a message to the customer, and choose whether to notify them of the denial. Here's what that screen looks like for you:
Your customer receives an email that contains your message; here's a partial screen of that email:

Hope that helps!
