Working hours decide whether a customer can or can't book with you or your employees at a specific time. Customize work hours, set special service times, and make quick changes directly from the calendar. Keep your bookings organized and make sure clients know when you're available.
Prerequisites: Ensure you've created at least one employee with a bookable calendar.

Some businesses or service providers may prefer to offer services or classes only at certain times. Vagaro allows you to chunk up your working day into up to four different blocks of time. Different services can be performed only in those blocks of time.
For example, a stylist may want to perform perms and hair coloring in the mornings between 8 AM and 10 AM so fewer customers are exposed to the smell of the products, or a trainer might want to offer personal training between 4 PM and 8 PM when their customers are more likely to book a session.

You can change an employee's or your own working hours directly from the calendar. Changing hours from the calendar allows you to make changes to your working hours without affecting other weeks, like if you want to work later or switch shifts. You can also choose to apply the change to your working hours for the future, which will update working hours in the employee's profile.
Important
Changing an employee's working hours will not automatically cancel any bookings that now fall out of working hours.
Unavailable times on the calendar will be greyed out. Light grey timeslots on the calendar mean that the employee is not working because custom work hours were set. Otherwise, dark grey timeslots mean that the employee is normally not working.
To change working hours:
-
Go to the Calendar.
-
Go to the employee's calendar you want to update.
-
Jump to the date or day of the week you want to update, then select a timeslot. A list of actions will be displayed.
-
Select Edit Working Hours.
-
Enter your From and To hours. Optionally, modify the Services Offered during this time or Add Time Range to chunk out your schedule.
-
Toggle Apply to all (Current Day) to update your working hours for your employee profile. Not turning on this setting will only apply this change once.
-
Select Save. The calendar will be updated with the new working hours.
Note
If you previously changed working hours on the calendar, reverse those changes to restore the original hours by selecting the same timeslot on the calendar, Edit Working Hours, and then selecting Remove Custom Schedule.
You can only do this if you didn't Apply to All....
