Welcome to Vagaro! In order for you to start using us right away, we want to help you by assisting with the import of some of your business information. If you have the files you wanted to import ready to go, that’s great! We typically work with Excel, .csv, and Numbers (for Mac users) files, but will do what we can to work with other formats you have if these are unavailable. You can either send us the files or if you don’t know how to do that, we can do a remote session and log in to your computer and extract the information ourselves.
As for what we can or cannot import, please refer to the image below.
Let us know what you want us to import based on the items above. If your import has any or all items in the Premium Import list, then you will need to pay the fee.
Remember the import process consists of a single import of all these information types. Once we have completed the import, subsequent imports will incur another $150 fee. If the data provided by the business is incorrect and needs to be modified or reimported in Vagaro, another import fee of $150 will be applied. Start to finish, the import process typically takes 3-5 business days but can take longer if we need additional data required to make the import possible.
Important: Enter all NEW APPOINTMENTS in Vagaro starting now. Vagaro does not import any incremental changes after this has begun, otherwise, you may get double-booked.
Contact our support team at 800-919-0157, ext. 2 if you need remote assistance. In this case, one of our engineers would log into your system and extract the data. We would then be able to import the information directly to your account.

If you're transferring information from one Vagaro account to another, we just need an authorization email from each account owner, verifying what needs to be transferred between the two accounts. Templates for Import
Download the templates below. Enter the required information. Then email the file for import to email@example.com. Remember, when importing customer contacts, an entry with just a name will be removed from the import file. It must have at least an email address or phone number.
