You can choose to connect to a credit card reader or use Tap to Pay. Both can't be connected at the same time. To switch between the two, you must either unassign the reader from your device or turn off Tap to Phone.
Note
If you turn off Tap to Phone and decide to turn it back on later, you will not need to reconnect your Apple ID with Vagaro.
Prerequisites: You must have already set up Tap to Phone on your device.
To turn off Tap to Phone:

Go to → .

Under Credit Card Reader, select Tap to Pay on iPhone.

Select Unassign Tap to Pay on iPhone, then confirm.
After disconnecting Tap to Phone from your device, you can connect to a credit card reader, if applicable.
To reactivate Tap to Phone:

Go to Checkout.

In the bottom-left corner, select Connect. If you see Pay with Card, you'll need to turn off any credit card readers attached to your phone.

In the popup, select Tap to Pay on iPhone. Tap to Phone will automatically be reactivated on your device.
