A business owner can add employees who have worked at other Vagaro businesses by requesting a data transfer from one of their previous employers. The employee's profile, services, and appointments can be transferred to another business as long as the employee is added using the same email address. The account owner of the source business must approve the employee data request to perform the process.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.
The business owner first needs to add the employee's profile to their system and then request a data transfer from one of the employee's business owners.
To add an employee profile and request a data transfer:

Go to

Add the employee to the business.

At the bottom of the screen, select Add Employee.

Enter the employee's information, then select Next.
Note
The employee profile's email address must be the same as the one at the other business.

In the popup, select Add Employee.

Ask the employee to enter their login details, then select Login.

Enter any additional information about the employee, then select Next.

Select the Employee Type and Access Level, any Locations to assign them to, then select Confirm.

If the employee has worked at other Vagaro businesses, select the business to data transfer to, then select Continue.

Select the data to be transferred, then select Request Transfer, to Skip the transfer to request the employee's previous employer to transfer their data later.

Set up the new employee's working hours.

Select services and classes for your new employee or let the transfer operation set those up when data is imported.

Select Save.

Go to Employee Profiles.

Vagaro Pro App: Go to → → , then select Employees to view the employee list.

On the Web, Tablet, or Pay Desk: Go to → → .

Add the employee to the business.

Select Add Employee.

Enter the employee's information, then select Next.
Note

At the employee's previous business that's transferring the employee profile to you, the business owner will review and approve the transfer request.
You'll receive an email notification if the other business owner denies your transfer request. You can request the transfer again, or you can contact the business owner directly and ask them to start the transfer process from their side.
To approve a data transfer:

In the Notification Panel, select View in the transfer request notification.

In the Approve Transfer popup:

Review the information that has been requested to be transferred.

Select the Express Consent box
-
Select Approve Transfer.

When the transfer is complete, the transferring business owner should delete the employee account from their business.
After the transfer is approved, either the employee or the target business's owner maps the employee's services to match them between the source business and the target business.
To map an employee's services:

In the Notification Panel, select the Approved Transfer notification, then select Service Mapping.

Either match the services shown to existing services or select Create New Service to create the service in the target business.

Select Import.
