If your employee now works at a different business, you can transfer their data from your business to their new business. The employee must request the data transfer from the other business owner, who must approve the request to send the data.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses. The employee must have an active employee profile at both businesses, and their services or classes and working hours must already be set up.
The business owner sends a request to the source business to transfer employee data to them.
To request an employee data transfer from another business:

Go to

Select Employees to view the employee list.

Select the employee's profile.

In the employee's profile, select the Action
menu, then select Transfer Employee Data.
Note
If the employee works for multiple locations, select the Action
menu for the location to transfer employee data to.

Select Transfer to Another Business.

Select the business to transfer the data to, then select Apply.

If the employee uses the same email address at multiple businesses, confirm that you selected the right business, then select Continue.

In the Transfer Data to Another Vagaro Account popup, provide the following information:

Copy Customers Of: Select the employee whose customer data will be transferred.

Recipient's Name: Name of the employee that the customer data is being transferred to.

Recipient's Email Address: The employee's email address, which must be the same one used at both, the previous and new Vagaro business.

Select Business to Transfer Data: Select the business that the employee is working at.

Transfer Data: Select whether to transfer the customers' contact information, notes, and/or files (the employee requires Vagaro Drive), and so on.

Transfer Date: Select the date when the customer data will be transferred.

Select the checkbox to agree that you express your consent to transfer the data, then select Request Transfer.
To request an employee data transfer from another business:

At the end of the row of the employee's profile, select the Action
menu, then select Transfer Employee Data.
Note
If the employee works for multiple locations, select the employee's blue Locations link, then select the Action
menu for the location to transfer employee data to.

Select Transfer to Another Business.

If the employee has worked at other Vagaro businesses, select the business to data transfer to, then select Continue.

In the Transfer Data to Another Vagaro Account popup, provide the following information:

Select the checkbox to agree that you express your consent to transfer the data, then select Request Transfer.
At the target business, the business owner will need to approve the request before the employee's data is sent over.
You'll receive an email notification if the other business owner denies your transfer request. You can request the transfer again, or you can contact the business owner directly and ask them to start the transfer process from their side.
To approve a data transfer:

In the Notification Panel, select View in the transfer request notification.

In the Approve Transfer popup:

Review the information that has been requested to be transferred.

Select the Express Consent box
-
Select Approve Transfer.

When the transfer is complete, the transferring business owner should delete the employee account from their business.
After the transfer is approved, either the employee or the target business's owner maps the employee's services to match them between the source business and the target business.
To map an employee's services:

In the Notification Panel, select the Approved Transfer notification, then select Service Mapping.

Either match the services shown to existing services or select Create New Service to create the service in the target business.

Select Import.
