It seems that the provider who sells the package, gets paid for the package. What if the client wants to redeem with another service provider?

Toni - The service provider who performs the service will get the credit for the money from the package. We allow people to select who sold it on both gift certificates and packages, because businesses like to monitor that information too, but they do not receive any money for selling them.

I use my iPad at my office and I'm happy to see all the updates that have been made to streamline things for iPad users. However, I haven't figured out how to add a package to a client's account from the iPad. It seems that when I add the package it only charges the client for one of the services not the total of the package. For example: I charge $220 for a package of 6 waxes, the client should be paying for this in one lump payment upfront. But when I go to checkout on the iPad, and add the package, it gives a total of about $40 (the cost of one of the waxes), it doesn't charge them the cost of the package. I have no problem redeeming packages. Just charging client for the total. Any help?

Ok, never mind. For some reason, it's working for me now when I test it out. (Can't delete my previous comment- sorry)

The instructions above are for the desktop version - I can't figure out how to redeem a package using the iPhone app. Help!

Can packages be set up as a service listing?

I am also curious about what Carol asked. It would be nice to have some packages set up and ready without having to figure out what sort of discount to give on they fly.

I've just sold a package to a woman who wanted to give it to her daughter as a gift. Can I transfer the package to her daughter's name after the transaction has gone through?

I would like to pre-configure service packages, such as a 4 pack of 30 minute massages. I would like to sell this via my website and social media. Is this possible in Vagaro?

I would like to sell packages via my website also and have a menu option pre set up so I do not have to configure discounts every time also. When will this be an option for us?

Here's a couple workarounds I've used for previous comments...
Ex: I want to sell packages for touch ups for 3 visits at a discount. 1. Create a new touch up service (3 touch ups prepaid pkg.) for the desired full amount 2. Client books this service 3. In checkout delete this service but add a new pkg with one less "No. Of visits". Client now has 2 more services to redeem already paid in full

Option 2. Ex. create a new service denoted as a buy 3 pkg., allocate 100 points EARNED for the service. Allocate 50 pts. REDEEMED to the regular, non pkg service. Client pays for the 3 services at the 1st visit and has points to be redeemed for the 2 future services.

Is there a way to take deposits and set up a payment plan through the package system?

Hi Joshua, the answer to this question depends on how you've set up your business. Do you want to offer a payment plan to a customer one time or provide a payment plan every time a customer purchases this package? There are a couple of methods to do this:

    1. Set Up Your Business for Vagaro Pay Later: This is Vagaro's buy now, pay later solution. However, not all customers will be eligible to pay later.
    2. Set Up Recurring Payments: You can turn on Auto Renew in your package settings to set up a recurring payment. For example, let's say I have a package with a $1000 value... First, I turn on Auto Renew and set the Charge Frequency to Weekly, then set the Auto Renew Limit to three. Once I've done this, I can update my package by changing the price to $250. Now, when a customer purchases my package, they will be charged the initial $250, then charged weekly for another $250, totaling $1000.

Note: For option two, keep in mind that package visits are renewed every billing cycle, so if I provide ten visits per package, the system will refresh their visits every week.

Feel free to contact our 24/7 support team as well. They can help you set up your business to your needs.
