Packages allow you to sell future visits and sessions. You can also set different auto-renew options, charging the client weekly, every two weeks, every four weeks, monthly, every two months, quarterly, yearly or after a set number of visits are completed. You can also do the following:
- Customize a package to fit your business needs.
- Add one type of class or service to a package.
- Combine different classes or services into one package.
- Offer a set series of visits or unlimited visits.
- Set your autopay charge frequency, charging customers weekly, every four weeks, monthly, every two months, quarterly, yearly or by a set number of completed visits.
Once a package is created, you can sell it from the Checkout screen. You also can sell it on Vagaro.com, your booking page, your Instagram page, Facebook account, and your personal website or blog via the Vagaro booking widget.
If you choose to require auto-renewal, you can set the Auto-Renew Limit or the number of times you want to renew the package. This gives you more flexibility and control and provides clients with more payment options.
*Remember, to redeem a visit from a package, the customer must book the appointment or class within the expiration date of the package. Also, note that a package will not redeem if the service is already set to $0, but once you increase the price, the software will redeem the service as long as it's part of the package.
To sell and redeem a package in Vagaro, follow the steps below when using the Desktop Version.

It seems that the provider who sells the package, gets paid for the package. What if the client wants to redeem with another service provider?
Toni - The service provider who performs the service will get the credit for the money from the package. We allow people to select who sold it on both gift certificates and packages, because businesses like to monitor that information too, but they do not receive any money for selling them.
I use my iPad at my office and I'm happy to see all the updates that have been made to streamline things for iPad users. However, I haven't figured out how to add a package to a client's account from the iPad. It seems that when I add the package it only charges the client for one of the services not the total of the package. For example: I charge $220 for a package of 6 waxes, the client should be paying for this in one lump payment upfront. But when I go to checkout on the iPad, and add the package, it gives a total of about $40 (the cost of one of the waxes), it doesn't charge them the cost of the package. I have no problem redeeming packages. Just charging client for the total. Any help?
Ok, never mind. For some reason, it's working for me now when I test it out. (Can't delete my previous comment- sorry)
The instructions above are for the desktop version - I can't figure out how to redeem a package using the iPhone app. Help!
Can packages be set up as a service listing?
I am also curious about what Carol asked. It would be nice to have some packages set up and ready without having to figure out what sort of discount to give on they fly.
I've just sold a package to a woman who wanted to give it to her daughter as a gift. Can I transfer the package to her daughter's name after the transaction has gone through?
I would like to pre-configure service packages, such as a 4 pack of 30 minute massages. I would like to sell this via my website and social media. Is this possible in Vagaro?
I would like to sell packages via my website also and have a menu option pre set up so I do not have to configure discounts every time also. When will this be an option for us?
Here's a couple workarounds I've used for previous comments...
Ex: I want to sell packages for touch ups for 3 visits at a discount. 1. Create a new touch up service (3 touch ups prepaid pkg.) for the desired full amount 2. Client books this service 3. In checkout delete this service but add a new pkg with one less "No. Of visits". Client now has 2 more services to redeem already paid in full
Option 2. Ex. create a new service denoted as a buy 3 pkg., allocate 100 points EARNED for the service. Allocate 50 pts. REDEEMED to the regular, non pkg service. Client pays for the 3 services at the 1st visit and has points to be redeemed for the 2 future services.
