Appointment Status Colors, What Do They Mean?

The Appointment Status Colors on the left side of your calendar have different meanings. Below are the details and a video to help you with understanding each status.

Requested (light blue) - your customer has requested this appointment and is waiting for you to Accept it.
   
Accepted (blue) - you have accepted this appointment on the schedule. You may also have the system setup to automatically accept all appointments, in this case the appointment would appear blue when made by your customer.    
Awaiting Confirmation (yellow) - Vagaro has automatically sent out a confirmation email and / or text to your customer.
   
Confirmed (orange) - When the client confirms the appointment OR if you make an appointment with a client within the Confirmation Request time period you setup in Manage Business --- Settings.    
Show (light green) - this status would be manually selected by you on the calendar screen; this option is normally used when a receptionist is checking in a customer.    
No Show (red) - this status would be manually selected by you on the calendar screen; this option is normally used when a receptionist identifies that a customer did not come in for an appointment.     
In Progress (dark green) - this status would be manually selected by you on the calendar screen; this option is normally used when a receptionist notates that a service is now in progress.    
Complete (gray) - After you have finished the Customer Checkout the appointment will automatically change to indicate the service and checkout are complete.    
Personal Off (brown) - This is when you schedule personal time off on your calendar that also blocks online booking.    

Personal Task Block (light brown) – This is when you schedule personal time off on your calendar that leaves online booking open.

   

On Waiting List (Pink) – This for clients who have been scheduled on a waiting list, awaiting the next available appointment.

   

This will help you answer questions like "how do I know if an appointment is confirmed?" or "how do I know how many people are on the waiting list?".
