The House Call feature allows you to offer services performed at your client's home or another remote location. You can easily get directions to your destination, send your customers your ETA and notify them of your departure and arrival using notifications.
To use the House Call feature, follow the steps below.

Create a House Call Service on the Vagaro Pro app
- Navigate to More > Settings > Service/Class Menu.
- Tap Services.
- Tap the service to edit.
- Tap Edit.
- Tap the House Call Service switch to toggle it on (red) or off.
- Tap Save.
- Tap Add.
- Tap Add Service.
- Tap Custom Service.
- Configure the custom service and set the House Call switch.
- Tap Save.

Create a House Call Service on the Web Version
- Navigate to Settings > Service/Class Menu.
- Click the Action menu (3 vertical dots) next to an existing service and click Edit.
- Toggle the House Call Service switch on (green).
Note: If you create a new Vagaro Service, you will have to go back to edit it as above to add the House Call option. However, when you create a new Custom Service, you set the House Call option as part of the add process:
- Click Add.
- Click Service.
- Click Custom Service.
- Configure the custom service and set the House Call switch.
- Click Save.

Send Departure and Arrival Notifications from your Mobile Device
- Tap Calendar at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the appointment. It will have a small car icon to indicate a House Call appointment.
- From the list that appears, choose House Call.
Choose from three options:
- I'm On My Way
- I Have Arrived
- Get Directions

I Have Arrived - This option lets customers know you are at their location.

Get Directions - Tap this option to choose your preferred navigation app. Once chosen, your map will launch on your device.
Edit House Call Settings on the Vagaro Pro app
- Navigate to More > Settings.
- Scroll down to Booking, and then tap House Call.
- On this screen, you can select and edit your House Call settings. There are four different fields you can customize.
- One way driving time for House Calls - The amount of time you allow yourself for travel
- Additional cost for House Calls - Charge House Call appointments a mileage or travel fee
- Additional points redeemed for House Calls– Require a customer to use additional points to redeem a House Call service using their point balance
- House Calls are Mandatory - Toggle this option On to only allow appointments at clients' homes. Toggle this option Off if you prefer to host services at different remote locations
5. Tap Save to finalize these settings.
Edit House Call Settings on the Web Version
- Navigate to Settings > House Calls.
- Edit the House Call settings.
- One way driving time for House Calls - The amount of time you allow yourself for travel

- Additional points redeemed for House Calls - Require a customer to use additional points to redeem a House Call service using their point balance

- Click Save to finalize these settings.
Book a House Call Appointment
- Click Calendar.
- Click an available time slot and then select New Appointment.
- Select the service to book from the dropdown list.
- Click the House Call menu, then select At customer's home.
- Once you select a customer, their address will automatically populate the Address box.
Click Change Address to update the customer's address. - Once you have entered all the appointment details and verified that the address is correct, click Book to finish booking the appointment.
