With Vagaro, you can sell gift cards both in-house and online; then, customers can redeem them on your booking page and at your business. The process is simple, and the system accepts both digital and physical gift cards.
Prerequisites: This feature is available for all Vagaro businesses.
To redeem a gift card:

From the Checkout screen, have a customer selected and items in the cart.

Select Add next to Gift Cards. The Gift Card popup will display and show all gift cards associated with the customer profile you selected.
Note
If there are no gift cards listed, you can still redeem a gift card that is not associated with the customer's profile.

Choose a gift card:

Select a gift card from the list (if they have more than one gift card).

Scan the physical gift card's barcode or the digital barcode with your phone or tablet.

Manually enter the gift card number in the Enter Gift Certificate No. box, then select
Search.

Enter how much of the gift card the customer wants to redeem in the Use Amount box. You can split the Amount Due between multiple gift cards.

Select Done to return to the Checkout screen.

If applicable, have the customer pay the remaining Amount Due, then select Checkout to finalize payment.
If the gift card used did not originally have a recipient attached, the system will assign the gift card to the customer you checked out.
To redeem a gift card:

Select Add next to Gift Card in the payment panel. The Gift Card No popup will display and show all gift cards associated with the customer profile you selected.

Select a gift card from the list (if they have more than one gift card).

Swipe a physical gift card with a card swiper.

Scan the physical gift card's barcode or the digital barcode with a barcode scanner.

Manually enter the gift card number in the Search
box.

Enter how much of the gift card the customer wants to redeem in the How much to use? box. You can split the Amount Due between multiple gift cards.

Select Redeem GC.

If applicable, have the customer pay the remaining Amount Due, then select Checkout to finalize payment.
If the gift card used did not originally have a recipient attached, the system will assign the gift card to the customer you checked out.
