Access Levels and Employee Types are important aspects of setting up your employees' profiles. It's important to understand that Access Levels and Employee Types are different from each other. To prevent confusion between these two topics, we will discuss what Employee Types are and how they differ from Access Levels.
Employee Type determines whether an employee has their own Calendar, while Access Levels allow you to control your employees' access to your Vagaro business. Other than having their own Vagaro Calendar, both Employee Types have access to the same features within your business. So, in order to set more limitations and restrictions for your employees, it is important to set up Access Levels.
When creating a new Employee Profile, you can select from the Employee Types below. It's important that you choose the right Employee Type when creating an employee.

Service Provider: $10 per month
Assign this to an employee who provides services at your business. A profile with the Service Provider type has access to its own calendar, working hours, and can perform services/classes. Creating a Service Provider comes with an additional charge of $10 per month, but if you have seven or more Service Provider employees (cap of $85 per month), you will be not charged for additional employees.

Account Admin: Free
An employee without a calendar who doesn't perform services or classes. An Admin performs other tasks within your business. Assign this account type to an employee who is a receptionist, manager, or supervisor. You won't be able to add services or working hours to any profiles with this Employee Type. However, you will not be charged an additional $10 per month for this profile.
If you want to change your employee's Account Type from Admin to Service Provider, you can do this from their Employee Profile. Keep in mind that you can't change an employee from Service Provider to Admin.

Navigate to the Employee Profiles screen.

On a computer: From the Calendar, hover over → , then select Employee Profiles.

On a tablet or Pay Desk: Log in to the Vagaro Pro app, tap Settings at the bottom of the screen, then select Employee Profiles in the Employees section.

On the Employee Profile you want to modify, click the Profile button.

Select the Password & Security tab.

Expand the Employee Type drop-down menu and select Service Provider.

Click Save.
